This step may only be necessary if the translation is from Spanish to another language. In any case, the party requesting the translation is responsible for stating whether or not the sworn translator’s signature requires authentication.
Why are stamps or seals translated in a sworn translation?
Not only stamps are translated, but also seals, annotations, etc. The purpose of a sworn translation is to bear witness that it is a faithful translation of the original document, and the translator attests that the annotations, dates or stamps that he/she has included appear in the document that he/she has translated.
